Nils Henrik Asheim’s Organ Night

“The concept is entitled Organ Night to allow the audience the opportunity soak up the atmosphere, to sink into a special experience, into the reverberations of the venue, into the soundscape,” says Nils Henrik Asheim of his project. “The concert is a two-hour-long happening in various phases - listeners can come and go as they wish, lie down on the pews or try out various parts of the church for resonance - it’s more about creating a state of sound than a concert”. Asheim is joined by Paal-Nilssen-Love, Lasse Marhaug, Elisabeth Vatn and Frode Gjerstad.
