Dan Berglund’s Tonbruket

Bassist Dan Berglund has mobilised a Swedish dream team for his new project, Tonbruket. Better known for his tenure with the Esbjörn Svensson Trio, he has long been part of consolidating Sweden’s position on the world jazz map. With the able assistance of Martin Hederos, Johan Lindström and Andreas Werlin, the collective draws inspiration from a gamut of genres, advancing the EST legacy still further. Traces of ambient, drum ’n ’ bass, art rock and prog-heavy can all be unearthed, underpinned with ample room for improvisation.
